Concerns w/ Aura digital picture frames

They’re beautiful devices, reasonable on-boarding, boomer/non-tech friendly setup & app One worry: “Aura cloud” You can’t load items directly on the frame but needs to go thru their system. There’s a google photos integration that looked promising but it just lets you pop photos from GP onto Aura cloud then onto the frame They don’t charge for it now + claim “unlimited” photos The price point for one of the devices is ~$150 which isn’t a bad margin for what’s (probably) an Android tablet Waiting for other shoe to drop from Aura for Aura+ monthly or some kind of shenanigans Does anybody know much about Aura or what their financial situation look like?
