Can’t believe their stock dropped even lower. Will they go bankrupt? Delisted? Or get acquired. Curious how it’s so bad
There are a lot of zombie companies that are surviving just because money was cheap. As the noose will tightened and rates stay higher for longer they will feel the pain.
A $150 bicycle + $100 tablet for $3000? What could go wrong? 😂
Don’t forget the membership
Nice bikes sell pretty well, look at Specialized. Peloton sits in its own niche, have no idea how it got this big in the first place…
Is there a better indoor bike that has the same or better technology?
Not sure it's better or worse, but there are a variety of Zwift compatible bikes that are better than Peloton at roughly the same price. Zwift is much cheaper ($180/yr vs ~$500). It really depends on whether you want someone yelling at you during your cycling workout or you want a highish fidelity simulator of outdoor biking while you watch TV.
company is definitely on life support. I saw the writing on the wall when they started requiring mandatory subscriptions just to get their equipment to turn on. Imagine buying a treadmill that refuses to work unless you pay a monthly fee. Crazy
That’s not true…can confirm it still works without subscription.
