WLB will depend on the team. Being on call at Rubrik can be super draining especially if you’re on an infra-related team. One of Rubrik’s values is velocity and you will be expected to abide by it. With regards to remote options, there are a handful of remote folks. The unwritten but spoken rule is that if you are within driving distance to HQ that you should come to office at least twice a week, but it’s up to your manager pretty much. My experience in general at Rubrik has been somewhere between OK and mildly positive. You will probably learn a lot, but the TC is deceiving since all of the equity is worthless until Rubrik IPO’s (if ever…).
Is there a by back option when one quits?
WLB is pretty bad.. Middle management is inexperienced and to show for it, they end up micromanaging. Rubrik started off good but at the moment, cannot recommend as a good place to work. You can get a better TC elsewhere..
Avoid Rubrik unless you hate yourself and are desperate How's the wlb? shit. there's a reason it's mostly guys on a visa. I know multiple people that burnt out so much that they just quit into unemployment. Culture? basically amazon culture, but without the public stock or name recognition Remote options? They called for 2-3 day RTO. oh also the product is on fire all the time Then there's the fact that IPO is nowhere in sight. Rubrik interviewed me and one of the VP's was biased and borderline racist. Hard No. Did my research when I was interviewing, the WLB is pathetic and employees aren't motivated. Deflated environment. Hope this helps.

Take it if you are desperate. Like a lot of folks said, burnout risk is real. And likely for peanuts more than your current compensation. The quality of engineers is still good (though not spectacular like in the past) but all other orgs are truly subpar.

Heard from ex-employees that it's a bad company with a low hiring bar, bad WLB and prospects of an out seem dim. Is the TC that they are offering comparable to your current TC?
They asked me crazy hard questions few years ago
Not sure about the hiring bar, but yes bad wlb and stock options might end up amounting to nothing.
