Disclaimer: This is a rumor that is currently being widely discussed on the internal Cisco Blind platform. The impact is expected to affect between 5% and 20% of the workforce in each organization.
Maybe to absorb staff from Splunk? Interesting.
Too many coasters there unfortunately
At least their coffee tables won’t have rings.
Lol
Yeah 2024 is going to be worst than 2023 Thank you Bidenomics
Since 2010
It's very much possible with the current dual pto saga
Yeah, Cisco is working on cutting down what it owes on its balance sheet. I’m glad to help out with that. By the way, one of my coworkers is taking a two-week break in both December and January.
That is standard procedure.
I see my friend as Cisco contractor was laid off last month.
I guess that cutting 15k workers because Cisco has no growth and revenue sinks. Acquisitions of Splunk makes the layoffs bigger. Half of Splunk workers should be eliminated to make it slim. 15% in engineering team. Since many existing customers of Cisco is fucking damn loyal, it won’t much impact on existing revenue.
For other companies layoffs are a news.. For Cisco it is the norm.
20 percent?
