We don't want all these low rent people getting greencards. That's the reality ImmiVoice doesn't want to admit--we aren't talking about high skilled FANG employees, we are talking about hundreds of thousands of barely qualified people whose main job market advantage is that they are willing to displace Americans and get paid less. Do people backing this realize the only qualification for an EB3 visa is a highschool diploma and 2 years work experience? That's what is mostly in the queue. I would maybe support it if it were limited to removing the country cap on EB2 only, where you need a degree.
You’re right Amazon. Most of these people directly came from India (taking advantage of H1B) so that they can work as testers and sys administration (roles that aren’t specialized and Americans can do) with the sole qualification of being able to do it cheaper. There’s nothing high skilled about what they do. They block legit high skilled Indians from getting greencards and now they’re being selfish and want to transfer their issues to the rest of the world
That applies to all nationalities though, other countries janitors and restaurant workers are getting eb3 green cards in a year
