Once you've worked hard l, got into a very good University, got the degree with high GPA, proved to one or two or three initial companies that you are good at whatever LC questions they ask: I think and believe that: one has done enough proving to the soceity. Life after 30s has major ups and downs. The soceity (through the corporate mechanism) has no right to test you over and over again, pip you, ask you for work 24/7, 996, etc. The whole premise and the foundation of spending the initial 20 odd years to work hard, get educated, acquire skills is enough proof to soceity. This is no way means that one slacks off later. One has already gone through enough pain to orient one self to serve the soceity. Just by living, working natural hours (by not pushing oneself), should produce sufficient outcome for the soceity to feast on. The use of performance as a reason to pip such folk is insane and absurd and shows how corrupt the soceity is to use you and throw you prematurely. Yes, it is enough for one to work at a natural pace beyond a certain point. No, management has no ability to measure one's performance. No way. Stack ranking is a evil of capitalistic soceity. Putting a 35 or 40 year old against new college grad is akin to spitting on one's soul. Enough rant for the day.
We need unions
Dude. One cannot rest on past achievements. Huge companies across history have vanished because they stopped innovating. A company is nothing but the individuals. If one doesn’t pull the weight of their level then that’s the start of collapse.
So why is it that your CEO earned 24.1 million? Did he pull his weight ? Lmao Is he so super brainy that he did 933 times a average employee at Walmart ?
Society? Corporations are not society. You are not owed anything.
Corporations are formed under the laws enacted by the Congress. Congress is elected by the soceity. The whole structure of the govt is designed so by civil soceity movements. Wake up
Yes in an ideal world. In a corrupt world, I stand by my point. 99 out of 100 pips today are done with political intent.
Humans are political. Ignore at your own peril
