SAP Sr to Google L5 or Amazon SDE 3
I will join SAP as a Sr dev (T3-1) soon. I'm planning to switch to a better company in a year. With an SAP Sr position in my resume, do I qualify for L5 at Google or SDE 3 at Amazon? I'm an immigrant with 3 YoE here in the US, and after many back and forth I convinced SAP to hire me as a Sr.

Sap sr won't translate to google or amazon sr. May be sde2 if you are lucky

Most likely SDE2 at Amazon but I do get recruiter msgs for SDE3.

Google just care about your interview performance! You can push your interviewer for L4/L5.
For Amazon L6 SDE (SDE 3) you may not even get calls with 3 YoE. Also, TC or GTFO
