SAP or UiPath

What would be the best place to join? SAP Labs or UiPath? YOE is 7.7. Full Stack Dev. Location: Bangalore, India SAP TC : Base 23L, Bonus 10% UiPath TC : Base 30L, Bonus 10 - 30%, RSU $40K/4 I know there is a huge difference in terms of compensation. Apart from that if I consider WLB, Engineering culture, growth etc. then what should I do? #offer #sap #uipath #uipathhiring

It's customer experience team for cloud. Any idea? Basically what they build products for customers who are using SAP products/ cloud etc. Is the TC okay by SAP's standard? Or I could get more?

CX is a big org with mutiple product units and teams in each of them. Do you know which one exactly? Also what T band and level are you getting?

I can tell you the hiring manager's name in DM. I am getting T2.3. It was a senior developer role. But eventually they gave me developer(T2.3). The interview went really well.

I believe it is Cloud Application Lifecycle Management Team(CALM) or Customer Experience and Solutions(CXS) team.

UiPath is ipo’ing soon and we are growing a lot business wise so there’s definitely a startup mode here which will continue for at least some time. If WLB is more important than growth (professional/money) then you might not be happy here short term. On the other hand - you can come and try, because now is the best time to join, and if things don’t work out for you then you can always switch back to other places.

C4C is ok-ish, it runs on quite old cloud abap stack, it means u will have to pick up ABAP and/or fiori sap ui5 js framework. If u plan to stay in sap ecosystem, it is ok. If u want more modern cloud native development u would need to change teams in sap, also doable.

Yeah. Got it. Thanks for your input :-)

Come to UiPath. I won't paint a rosy picture. UiPath needs to be better at WLB, and is actually making positive changes. I personally feel that managers in product team in India are caring. Also we are growing crazy and you would also benefit from it if you join now. Sap will still be there after few years if you want to have a relaxed life.

Got it thanks :-) Any idea about the Apps team specifically?

UiPath hPxx55 Oct 17, 2020

Good team. And product seems promising. I think in some session they also talked about it's adoption which was nice.

SAP had it’s hay day pre Y2K and a few years after. I would highly recommend staying away. UIPath treats their employees better and is an easier product to sell. Many CIO’s and CTO’s still have heartburn over the BS and over priced products ( with German only users manuals) which is not not forgotten by the tech decision makers. No, I never worked there but their legacy haunts them to this day.
