Where should I go - Autodesk or Lending Club?

Finance business partner vs Finance manager role. The base offered by LC is 7% lower than Autodesk would. I also don't have information yet about the equity % at Autodesk. Does anyone know the range?

Autodesk inmyeyes Oct 28, 2017

You get stock options, not equity

Oracle dopey1104 OP Oct 29, 2017

Recruiter told me it'd be RSUs

Lending Club Hklhfxvbjk Oct 28, 2017

Take Autodesk....LC is going down

Gigamon teh Oct 28, 2017

Go to Autodesk.

Autodesk Rao1 Oct 29, 2017

Autodesk pays good severance when you get laid off , so I would recommend you to join Autodesk.

Amadeus Trick2g Jan 25, 2019

Lmao! 😂😂

Lending Club Rinker Oct 29, 2017

I would advice you not to choose LendingClub. But if you are talking about severance even before joining then you have issues with that company

I thought LC improved their earnings in the recent quarter. Stock price also has gone up 20% in the last few months. What's so bad about that?

Lending Club Rinker Oct 29, 2017

Dude, last year numbers were so bad that this year’s numbers are looking good. Nothing drastically changed. And that stock price is a mess. It used to be more than 50% two years back and more than 100% three years back. There is no real leadership, ad-hoc CTO, employees leaving left and right, no long terms, no new products, everyone’s job is to meet next quarter numbers, shit politics and 0% transparency. I guess Oracle is also a depressing place to work so there might not be a big change for you so just take the offer.

Autodesk 🙉🙊🙈! Oct 31, 2017

Autodesk but do negotiate double the RSU that they offer you initially. Fake what you have at Oracle as far as RSU goes as that cannot be checked.

Oracle dopey1104 OP Oct 31, 2017

Do you know what's the range of RSUs, say how many % of base? There is no market data on that so it's hard to compare with other offer.

Autodesk 🙉🙊🙈! Nov 6, 2017

Try for 100% or more of base over 3 yrs

Autodesk aOAG07 Nov 2, 2017

What level at autodesk? They’ve also recently changed the policy from share based to value based.

Oracle dopey1104 OP Nov 2, 2017

Hmmm I have no idea. The title is Finance business partner

Lending Club Mbgjmcdhjn Nov 2, 2017

Hey Lemon, don’t do this much research and asking. I am sure you will crash & burn in your next job or get fired from Oracle.

Splunk anon654321 Nov 7, 2017

I think the earnings released today by LC should make that decision very easy.

Autodesk Kenechi Dec 14, 2017

Lending club any day
