I joined Expedia a month back as backend SDE 2 YOE: 3 Current Fixed 30.8L Stocks 17500USD / 4 Variable: 0 TC: 33.95L Now after joining I have 3 more better comp offers and I am confused. I am not too keen on joining Walmart since low base 2. Anyone know anything about the teams? What does the community think I should go for? And how is the culture at Gojek/Hotstar? WLB, Yearly growth, work ofc are some factors I am considering #techcareer #offers #gojek #hotstar #tech #offer
join gojek
Do you know any specifics about how culture and teams are?
nope. but heard that their tech stack is good. one of my friend recently joined.
Both TC as well as WLB wise, i feel Gojek would be a better choice
Are you really gonna ditch a company you just joined for a few extra lakhs?
why not? money is motivation.
Post tax the difference is not worth jumping. Money is motivation sure, doesn't mean you keep changing jobs every month. It's one thing if the new offers were 2x the current comp. Post tax difference here is like 15% . You can do better just by performing well.
Not worth to switch , stay for an year and aim a higher level elsewhere
Expedia pays 30.8L fixed for SDE 2? I thought their max was 25-26
Youre right,Maybe he included joining bonus and some other internal allowances which are not part of CTC but are paid.
Max is what you can get from the recruiter :P it’s 30
Already mentioned Expedia comp, working there.
Before that I was at 19L all fixed
