SDE2 to E5 at FB
If onsite loop has 2 coding, 1 background+coding, and 1 design interview is it possible they could be considering for E5? Or would there need to be more design for an E5 loop?
E3 has the same exact rounds. You’re being considered as E3 sorry
E4-E5 have same rounds

It’s possible they are considering you for E5, but you’re gonna have to demonstrate you’re at that level.
Demonstrate how? What differentiates an e5 from e4 in the same system design and coding rounds?
Coding doesn’t differentiate. Ability to crush design round does.
I had 1 design round when interviewed at 4, and 2 when applied at 5. Pretty sure yours is for E4.

Oh is e5 supposed to be a jump? Thought sde2 mapped to e4/5
2 design rounds are needed for E6, not E5. I don’t know what the requirements for E4 are, though.
