Like the title suggests, I'm graduating next month without a job in hand. I've sent out 1000+ applications and had no luck. Got interviews at Meta and Goldman Sachs, but unfortunately failed both. I felt I was unlucky in both my interviews coz the interviewer kinda went out of scope from the initial brief given to me. I really dont know what to do at this point. I've worked my ass off and haven't been able to get interviews at this point. What do you guys suggest? I'm from Romania and on student visa. Have only 3 months to find a job. #tech
I am really wishing luck for you
Keep grinding and apply for more job. Also, look around to see if you can find a job in any small/local companies so that you don’t lose your status. Note that you don’t need a job in a top company to maintain your status in OPT. Year 1 OPT is very flexible, so any job(and sometimes volunteer work) is enough to maintain your status. Obviously, you would eventually want to land a job in a company that sponsors H1B but that doesn’t have to be your first job. Get a job, any job, that helps you maintain the status and then continue looking for better opportunities.
Lmk if u need Linkdn premium at best discount.. I think it will help somehow.
