I don't work in university recruiting. unfortunately I cannot say. But from industry hiring we don't care much about the school name or brand

Find folks on LinkedIn that can be in the domain and connect with them. Also have someone put in a referral for you.
Does the domain the person who refers you matter? I’ve had referrals from business analysts but no luck

I've recently had links to peer reviewed journals and the WHO website censored on FB as being misleading. (Didn't vote for Trump.)
How many candidates leave before one year? Do they have to return signon bonus?
It depends on what the sign on bonus indicates. Some people get bonuses for relocation etc. It would indicate in their contract.
