Blue Origin TC?

I'm having a hell of a time finding compensation information on Blue Origin. I'm being recruited for a Senior Manager role that sounds insanely exciting, much more personal value than what I am doing at FB; however, I am pretty concerned about a potentially large drop in pay. FB TC ~$300K in the Bay Area. The move to Kent, WA would obviously be a huge COL improvement (with no state taxes), but what kind of TC should a person expect at Blue Origin? #blueorigin

You’ll not get anywhere NEAR $300K TC. I’m fairly senior and am doing program management and make about $140K with 15 YOE.

Thanks for the info man. Mind sharing your seniority more clearly? Are you a Senior Manager?

If you want to DM me, sure.

Keep in mind that Blue has no equity growth, and will not for the foreseeable future. That is a big component of FAANG you would be giving up. I’d recommend looking for roles in one of the other FB locations if you’re wanting to lower your CoL.

I think my real issue is whether the insane increase in personal value is worth the decrease in pay.
