Microsoft L63 team matching help needed!
Recently completed a total 5 interviews at Microsoft in a hiring event 1. OA 2. DSA 3. LLD 4. HLD 5. HM Post the interviews recruiter told me it was a "YES", and the HM gave me "AA" (some internal abbreviation they use to denote a selection) Now they are asking to do one round of interview with an HM for team matching. What to expect in this interview? What should I prepare for? If I get rejected in the team matching stage will they retry for a different team or it's a complete rejection only? TC: 56LPA, 8 Years #tech #hiring #interview

What they asked you in HM?
Hard part is done. Team matching is mostly open conversation about the team, the work involved, tech used etc... so that you know what you are getting into and what will be your contribution looks like on a day to day work expectations. Ask your questions and get it clarified in the meeting. At the end, if you feel that the team and work excites you, you say YES and the team match is complete. Now be advised if you say NO, the whole process of finding another HM who is looking for a candidate profile like yours starts again from scratch. This HR process can take weeks sometimes to get you the next team matching call. Also, keep in mind that you will not get an opportunity to say YES later to a team match which you initially said NO to... If the work and tech is 70% good enough for you, better to take the opportunity right away.
