Anyone have any insight into what it’s like to work at Sitecore and what the work life balance is like? Things like culture, comp, vacation, remote friendly, etc. Thanks!
I use Sitecore on a daily basis. It is 100% undeniably trash, top to bottom. Literally plain old WordPress is better than this steaming pile of shit.
Everyone works usually from 8am-5pm. Definitely the work hard play hard type of office since it’s a smaller team supporting a big product. They match 401k, 50% of your contributions up to 2k. Pretty good health care, prices went up a little. You get compensated for phone and internet of about $150 a month? And usually a 10% bonus of your salary. And discounted prices on classpass. 3 week vacation. Very remote friendly!
Culture: - Global company so expect early mornings and late nights if you have to work with global teams - About a 8am - 5pm culture, not the typical 10am meetings tech culture, expect early morning meetings - Small enough teams and orgs so you'll know almost everyone. It's nice because everyone knows each other by name. - Changes happen fast, even though the company may seem small, the business impact and revenue is pretty great so you'll be making a lot of impact in any role you have - Still a growing company so expect to see more growth in the future Benefits: - Definitely remote friendly and are moving to having more remote positions - 401k match, 50% of your contributions up to 2k. - Healthcare is pretty good, I pay around $75/pay check for copay plan - Phone and internet stipend $150 a month - 3 week vacation when you start - Free 20 credits of classpass/month, discounted if you want more - Free lunch on thursdays in the office - Free snacks, drinks, kombucha/cold brew on tap
No idea on how it is to work there, but I do know their platform is trash.
