I'm not talking about the Robert Half, Revature, CyberCoders types that tell you about job openings but can't disclose the company's name or other details. I'm not talking about 1st party recruiters a la Amazon, Microsoft, etc. I'm trying to understand the role of the 3rd party recruiters that have a stack of job openings that they are willing and able to hand out with little to no red tape. What's in it for them? What's in it for me? Should I work with one/many if I'm trying to get a new job asap? TC 70k
$70k? Are you in India or Africa?
It’s kinda like sales, they make commission on certain leads. Nothing else to it really. They’re low on the totem pole but you gotta start out from somewhere.
They get commissions based on filled roles. It's a start, I got a contract through insight global, joined a company for peanuts, team was bought by a MANGA company which gave me experience to transition.
