Whenever I think about joining a SaaS startup, the first fear I get is of AWS or Azure destroying them. Snowflake, Confluent, Databricks etc are exceptions and not the norm? Is this understanding correct? For those who are joining SaaS startups, can you give me a different perspective on this. Could be as simple as "competition is good." TC 250k

When you think about some of the SaaS companies that have thrived, they have done so because they’re the creators of that wildly adopted open source software available everywhere — across all three hyper scalers. Many orgs are multi-cloud and seek technologies that are compatible with that strategy.
