My org has potential to lay off and makes me sad. I love Amazon, it's the best job I ever had. For once in my life I wasn't living paycheck to paycheck. Incredible TC, interesting work, well known brand people respect, and convenient location for me (I live 10mins to office). All I see in my future after Amazon is shitty companies paying 🥜 Depressed. Thinking of just quitting work altogether if I get laid off.
Like this comment if you want to throw 🍌 at OP.
If it makes you feel any better, I don’t respect the Amazon brand at all
People respect Amazon sweatshop?
Lol Amazon HR spotted
What location do you live. Some locations are looking bad but Seattle has tons of openings.
I was laid off too late last year, I enjoyed my time at AWS and would go back if I found the right open role...but this thread is just too much, OP
Jobs are like people, trust - there are always more fish in the sea, and more “loves of your life” that you can and will find exist. Also, with Amazon especially, no good gathering of people, meaningful initiative, or healthy situation lasts forever. You could easily not be laid off but find that your org takes a toxic turn.
🥰
TC or GTFO. Don't care about your banana stories.
You are the fake news.
