Safe deposit box services
Many banks are shutting down safe deposit box services in usa. Especially since this service is not available for new customers, where do you suggest keeping any valuables? Scared of keeping anything at home because of increasing burglaries and high crime rate. For those who are suggesting buying a gun, is it allowed on a work visa?

Safe deposit boxes are not safe. Bank make you sign an agreement saying that you understand that safe is not burglar proof or safe against fire or water damage.

House fires are not that common but burglaries are pretty high everywhere these days
