Facebook LinkedIn are the best options. But looks like LinkedIn is in freeze. Amazon, but experience can be terrible. Microsoft, but low TC. --- What about- Lyft, Uber, Pinterest? I think they will not even be around in a year if the situation doesn't get better soon. Citadel, Jump, Two Sigma, Hudson River? May be risky because in general they riskier than tech companies and on top, lack the domain knowledge and virtual onboarding can be not so effective. Snap Not sure.

High TC, great work life balance, job security, public company so have value to their stock.

HFT firms’ stability shouldn’t be affected by the virus. Profits come from exploiting volatility, so a volatile market potentially means more money for them. Whether the market is up or down their profit just depends on trading performance. However, I don’t know if some are on hiring freeze, these firms are small and selective compared to FAANG.
Some of the smaller HFT firms have put a hold on hiring due to interviewing capacity, difficulties onboarding etc. The larger firms and hedge funds are actively hiring, no changes to headcount. As you said, they thrive in this market.
What about Apple?
