Got a written offer from meta for a non-tech role. Have a pretty stable thing here at adobe but our org has had a ton of turnover as of late, tho think I’m safe and generally well-regarded. I started talking to meta in April pre hiring freeze and afaik this function (which is revenue driving) is safe. Recruiter has confirmed multiple times that this role is available, but I’m having coinbase terrors hearing the shit they’re doing. Thoughts on jumping ship in this climate? Current comp (2021 level): $340K 2022 level: 💩 Meta offer (with $50K signing bonus): $550K YOE: 15 Thanx fellas
Congrats on the offer! Do you mind sharing from what level at Adobe you’re moving to what level at Meta?
What type of non-technical roles allow you to get that type of salary?
Sales, with a large bonus (commission) %
Move on , get a better tc at a lower stock valuation and let other get the position at adobe.
Even if Meta eventually sinks, it's still not yet going to disappear for the next few years. Work with them till you like, switch again when shit hits the fan.
What was the stock price at which the RSUs were awarded?
No brain Meta if I were you

Bruh….come on
I mean yes it’s a no brainer from a comp pov, but I’m thinking more on the stability factor, or lack thereof.
I guess if you were in the top30-40% performers in your team at Adobe, you got nothing at fear about
