I have a sealed felony charge (not conviction) for something from 6 years ago. Not abusive or sexual related. What are the chances I can get top secret clearance? And if I can’t get it, how likely is it for such a company to fire me.
No conviction, you should still be eligible for the clearance. You will be asked about it if you take a poly though and it will definitely come up in the background check. You should make sure you’re completely honest on your application for clearance.
I know someone that did time for a drug dealing conviction that got a TS. It depends on the adjudicator and the agency it's for.
What did you do? This is blind so being secretive has no purpose
