My end year performances are good and the firm has done well. I am below average in my title (base on Glassdor and LinkedIn) and plan to ask an increase of 15%. Anyone did this I can share their experience and advice
Great question OP, while I haven’t done that myself, curious to know if anyone was successful in asking for a 15% raise during year end & getting it
There is a rating 1-5 that goes in hr system which is opaque to anyone below ED. NO ONE will talk about it or say that it exists. Your bonus and appraisal is decided on that. The rating is submitted by latest by october 1st week. So you are late for discussion. Just so you know, discussion for 360, goals, and year end does not decide anything. Everything for you was decided by your MD in October.
So there's even less incentives to work Nov and Dec now
Not exactly. Rating and bonus can be decreased if don't don't continue to perform but will never be increased. Best time for comp discussion is August- September
