I have around 4.5 year experience in the software development. My current compensation is fixed 23lpa (INR) and I have 2 offer from 2 different domain org. 1. 30 fixed Lpa + 1 joining bonus + 1 retaining bonus + performance bonus( variable) + salary correction = 33 - 35 lpa 2. 27 fixed Lpa + 9 joining bonus + 6.75 worth rsu (not public traded but in 2 years it will be) + performance bonus = 43 - 45 lpa Which one you guys are suggesting. #engineering #software #swe #compentation #comparison
If you have revealed the offers and their breakup you shouldn't keep the names of the companies from which you have offers secret. It will be of help to the community.
I will reveal the name of the company for sure. But need of the hour your suggestions on those compansation. I have only 2 days left.
2nd one for sure
@op I don’t know what exactly you want? You want to test basic maths that 43-45 > 33-35? Or you want genuine suggestions? If you want genuine suggestions, then post company names also. So, You cAn get to know all the pros and cons
First offer from Paytm and other from the uipath
Pretty easy choice then
I am bit confused actually because 2nd company has reduced it the offer. Now offer 27 fixed + 4 joining bonus + 6.5 lacs worth of stocks. Initally I post on msg here HR team were saying that they give me. But later hr said some bullshit policies regarding parity (same old bullshit). 2nd has kind a unique in market which give them space to grow faster. Another points are in first company has very hectic and negative review. I had checked on Glassdoor work life balanced will go toss. Today was my last workday in cur org and I had to make a decision by Monday.
So is it uipath or Paytm ?
Check reviews for both on blind glass door and check for Lay off culture who layoffs frequently . Check which offer better alignment with ur career learning.
2-3 lakhs extra doesn’t matter if other provides better road map
When I checked seems like uipath has better culture and have more learning as compare to Paytm.
The second one looks better imo.
