Hello Friends, There is a friend of mine looking to understand how much she should ask for when applying for a Senior Product Manager Technical role in Dell Technologies Germany. She has 13 years of work experience and is currently working in Microsoft. TC: €150k + bonuses. Not sure how much are bonuses. #pm #product #productmanager #seniorproductmanager #dell #tech #salary #compensation #salarynegotiation
Don’t give a number first. Just ask what the budget was for the time. Never give a number first
She already did unfortunately. Is there any number she should expect? Being an SPM, can you expect a base of €190K at Dell? If not, she said she might not consider joining them.
I’ve never understood these ‘asking for a friend’ posts. Why doesn’t the person with the question lost it themselves? lol
I should have explained. That’s because she is too afraid her friends from Microsoft who are on blind will know that it is her. She and her colleagues all use Blind extensively. I volunteered to help her out. She is quite anxious and it will be her first change after 5 years in employment with Microsoft. Would you be able to help?
Im sure its because OP is nosy lol
Would appreciate any suggestions on what she can expect and if it is even realistic
Interested to know this too… anyone from Dell??
What is the level? If it's an i9 ( consultant) it should be $130-160k base +15% bonus + $20-40k in rsu (3 year vesting). If it's i10 (sr consultant) then $160-200k base + 25% bonus + 50-70k stock. These numbers are for US though . Germany will be a little less than this is my guess TC: 250k Yoe: 10
Thank you, @sigmundshy! I am interviewing with Dell as well. They mentioned that there are no RSUs for the role. They never shared the level though. Is that normal? YOE: 12
Got an offer of TC: €142k plus the joining bonus. Pretty disappointed that they did not even make a single attempt to match my current salary let alone match my expected salary. Decided to Decline the offer eventually even though I liked the role. What do you think about this offer in Europe? Is that how negotiation is handled in Dell?
Can anyone from Dell answer that? #dell #seniorproductmanager #productmanagement
I joined I9 without RSU and sign on but negotiated on base. It seems to be pretty normal but also depends on the org.
What was your final offer? And what country was that in?
Boston, US. Program Manager ( non tech ) $155K
Nudging the request… she is quite stressed about it
