I'm an intern at Deloitte working as a tax consulting intern. I live in a HCOL city. What can my salary expectations be if I get a full time offer? I'll most likely come in as a TC l . According to my hourly intern pay I would make about 69K and is there any chance of negotiation ? If it helps I'd have my masters done before my start date and will be CPA ready. Not that it really matters in my field #deloitte #consulting #tax #cpa #salarycomparison #salary #salarynegotiation #big4 #recruiting

If you make 69k pro rata now, why would your offer be lower than that?
I've heard many companies have higher hourly intern pay as a way to incentivize interns and help them cover more expenses for the rest of the academic year
Interesting. Never heard of that. Pretty sure it's not a thing anywhere in the tech world at least
My friend works for Deloitte doing advisory or audit, now has a CPA. He also said he was being paid substantially more as an intern. He came in at about $55k, then after 1 year he got a raise to $90k (got CPA in that time). He also has a masters degree
Blind is mainly for tech and specifically software engineers. You’re not going to get good insights here
+1, Fishbowl is better for consulting & banking
