Salary expectations for 1 YOE Mechanical Engineer at SpaceX
Looking at a SpaceX hawthorne mechanical engineer position right now. Any advice on expected TC to negotiate? Bachelors in MechE a little over 1YOE Current TC: 75k total #spacex @spacex #hardware #mechanicalengineering

Aim for 95-110 range at your level. Definitely go for more RSU’s if possible but dont sweat it too much. My TC jumped ~60% in first ~2.5 years majority of which was to RSU refreshers and valuation increase.

I don't have a lot of experience negotiating. Should I ask for like 110$ total TC? Or should I specify amount of stock like in the levels
It’s up to your comfort level, but don’t sell yourself short! Companies probably won’t offer you more than you ask, so it’s good to start a little higher and see what happens.
