I'm currently being interviewed for Sr. Dir. Product Management position in a recently funded series C company in Cybersecurity. I did some research on Glassdoor, Salary.com, Indeed etc. but still not clear on what salary package (base, bonus, equity) is right for this position. Any pointers? I have over 2 decades of engineering and product management experience. Location: San Francisco Bay Area Current TC:$250k I think Update: I received a communication from the hiring company that the initial offer extended is final and non-negotiable. I am not planning to respond to that.
Probably north of $320K, ballpark, best guess P.s. where's your blind tax?
is $320k base or bonus included? Sorry, don't know what is blind tax
Base+bonus, and avg_hombre has a good number for TC
Depends on the scope and targetted compensation quartile this company can afford. I would say anywhere between 400-1.5 million in TC(wherein most of it will be paper money)
how much of that is base and bonus?
+1 varies widely based on scope, team size, and success of the company + their comp policy. 300-350 cash is standard but equity can be 200k-700k+ depending. eg if you went to Turo vs Uber early on, Uber would have given you 1m+ and Turo maybe 600k at similar levels.
$250K+ base, equity depends on valuation and how you negotiate. DM if you have questions
DMed
$280k base
Probably TC would be around 350 with the base closer to 250s
Asking a question about tc without giving your current tc smh 🤦♂️
Prolly very low today. That’s why not sharing.
Probably $200K TC. Title are super inflated at startups. At our acquisition, VP comes over as G10 (entry level manager).
😂 i didn’t know Cisco folks exaggerate this much. It’s the other way around wherein our VPs join FAANG as directors. Never heard of startup VPs joining Cisco as entry level managers
It's the honest truth. CEO came over as G13 director, all other C levels were G12/11, and VP was G10
Sr Director? Depends on the valuation but base of Atleast 200-300k but high on equity. TC of 400-500k I would say.
I'm a Director of Product and pull 200 base, 250 TC out of Chicago. It was well aligned with my Glassdoor and Salary research. Then every day on here I see Jr Devs pulling 500k and crying about it.
You are comparing apples to oranges. So make it little bit comparable - How much jr devs in Chicago at discover financial making?
Glassdoor salary data is usually half of what the company pays
What do you expect?
