Salary negotiation
I have an offer from ey based in Bangalore as a senior analyst in tech consulting. The package is 6.5LPA . Recently I got my offer for Accenture as a packaged app developer and the joining is in my home city Kolkata. The package is less 4.5 lpa but it my home city . I want to negotiate my salary at Accenture to what I am getting at EY can I do that ? Will it be wise .
What are the key pointer i should put while negotiating
Told them I already have a offer more than what you offered, it would be good if you give the expected offer(your expected). if you loose right now you will regret later while switching, Accenture already have 3 month notice period as per my knowledge while switching you will struggle
Yes, Negotiate. Don't lose 2 laks(~45%) unless you badly need your home city. Say that you have an offer. Be ready to take ey if that goes bad.
