Hey All, I am a software engineer with tech stack in React JS and Node. I have knowledge in ServiceNow so I attempted to give an interview at BCBS for a senior servicenow role. Completed my interview with BCBS. Originally they were willing to offer 100-105k as base salary but now they are offering 88k and sticking to it. The recruiter told me that health benefits are a big perk to consider. Not sure what to think of. I do have other company Interviews going in loop like Walmart and Goldman Sachs. Received rejection on Amazon. What do you all suggest? Should I accept it or continue grinding and land on to a good role with better pay? Need to visit office 3's a week. Base: 88k Bonus 8% based on performance Signing bonus : 5k I really do want to work hard for a better paying role instead of adjusting for 10k change in salary. Current TC: 72k
Keep looking.
Keep looking.
Huge red flag. Decline and Keep looking.
Decline and keep looking
Keep looking. All benefit perks are about 20k tops. So TC is weighted much more.
Don’t go there, wasted 7 yrs
I’m leaving BCBS this week. Don’t bother. You’ll spend years trying to get the salary you deserve.
Thanks all for your replies. Told recruiter the same and stepped back. Sad to see that they had to low ball after initially making the promise.
I have worked there for 4 years now. I agree with all the above comments. Glad you stepped away.
Super low ball. Keep looking. Used to work there and although it’s good WLB the work is super boring. At least to me. You can easily make 2-4x that amount elsewhere.
