VMware goketsu Oct 7, 2021

I believe we use the job title senior principal engineer in more than one business unit. Are we talking about software development, hardware development or pre-sales?

ADP nbVO23 OP Oct 7, 2021

It’s in global platform team. I don’t have much information other than that

Dell siznizzle Oct 7, 2021

I9 - 16% bonus. No guarantee on rsu's unless you are a top performer.

EMC notaxx Oct 7, 2021

I9 has just 16% bonus? Damnn. I had heard somewhere its like 20%+...

Dell siznizzle Oct 7, 2021

Yeah it's pretty low. You make 25% at i10/M10 director

Dell Ljshhs Oct 7, 2021

I heard it is somewhere around 175k for base in Austin. But not sure. Some other i9's can confirm.

VMware goketsu Oct 7, 2021

I9 is like C3 from the old days. Garbage TC.

Dell pepsicool Oct 12, 2021

Heard dell increased wht thy r offering, but it is far inferior to current market rate. So no takers. Managers r old school who do not want to hire folks who might receive higher than them as TC (15+ Years managers at Dell who r fit for nothing)

Dell kfqy66 Oct 12, 2021

For someone that claims some managers "r" not fit for anything...your grammar leaves much to be desired

Dell pepsicool Oct 14, 2021

Leaving aside the grammar, why dnt u enlighten on how much Dell is offering on an avg ?

I-9 bands are pretty broad. I am currently at I-9. The higher side of the base salary used to be close to $200k and bonus is 15% and there is no guarantee of RSU, some organizations don’t grant RSUs at all even if you are a top performer.
