Salary suggestion
One of my friends is getting an offer for M3 Senior Manager at Oracle BMC team in Seattle. The offer is $200K base + $150K stocks (each year) for a total of $350K. 1) How good is this offer? 2) Where does it place him in the salary band for M3? 3) He is an L6 manager at Amazon. Is the leveling correct? 4) What is the growth potential based on salary? Is it anyway closer to the top that he may be promoted in a year?

It is level 6- SDM3, equivalent to Senior SDE within Amazon. And I think it is equivalent to google upper T5 to middle T6 Was that your question?
Do you manage managers at amazon, if you do then director would be the most you'd get. If you only manage IC then senior sdm is right. My 2 cents. Cannot comment on salary.
