Hi Blind - My employer is offering a salesforce developer bootcamp that could lead to a full time position. I have no experience and I have a few questions. 1. What is the career track for this? 2. TC? What are the limits? 3. WLB? How many hours do you usually have to work? 4. How difficult is it to learn? 5. Is it worth it? 6. Please input any additional information that you may find useful. I am currently in app support which includes monitoring and alerting. 50% of role is technical and 50% is management. My technical skills could use some development. Thanks, and of course TC: 110K #tech #Salesforce #bootcamp #technology
1. What is the career track for this? Dev > Senior Dev > Once you get enough experience you will become a consultant 2. TC? What are the limits? Check on Glassdoor. Salary change according to the market. 3. WLB? How many hours do you usually have to work? No specific answer, but when you work as consultant you don’t expect a great wlb. 4. How difficult is it to learn? You will go through a 6 month learning curve and after that keep updated with every major release like any other erp. 5. Is it worth it? Support vs sales force Dev yes it’s worth it. 6. Please input any additional information that you may find useful. Full time at Prudential is a great move to start with. After that you can move to a front end or full stack Dev role.
Thanks for taking the time to address this. It helps.
