I am been considered/profile shortlisted (In Progress) for Senior Manager role in Salesforce. But I have around 16+ yoe. If i ask for Director role later, What are the possibilities of getting the same ? What TC i can expect ? Will they consider my current TC and align with SF director role (to match) or simply ghost me? My current TC is : 1.25cr.🇮🇳
Depends on multiple factors: including who is your competition, especially in this job market Are you already a D from a scope perspective? Can you sell your value good enough? Does the budget allow for it, even if the Hiring Manager agrees with you? This is the most crucial as a Hiring Manager I know this is a very tough sell
Definitely worth trying for director!
They’ve been using the market to downlevel and hire at low cost, this has been happening throughout the year. I know atleast 3 people to whom they did this. I don’t think they can offer similar TC for Sr EM. At the same time I know people with 14-15 yoe offered DoE, so do push for it, if you don’t you won’t get it. The process at salesforce is not at all fair, you need to push to get what you deserve.
