Salesforce is over compensated. They level everyone higher than they should be. Leading to a very top-heavy rank pool, which don't deserve the titles. The good employees do earn their titles, but are not compensated proportionally more, thus leading to the conclusion that you should only do enough to float by and enjoy the high comp for low work. I don't have any specific advice about the PM role. Only that I know we're paid more than we deserve. It's like SF compensation scheme has infected the business else they wouldn't have any employees at all. I'm not complaining, just letting you know
