I recently went through the interview process for a Senior/Enterprise Solution Engineer (aka Sales Engineer) role with Salesforce. It was an awesome experience. I went through all of the interview rounds, including the final big panel interview and mock sales presentation/software demonstration at one of the Salesforce offices. Unfortunately I did not get the role. Going through the experience and working with the mentor that was assigned to me, it was very easy to see that Salesforce is hands down the best when it comes to sales presentations and giving customers software demos. I had learned that upon being hired, new SEs at Salesforce are put through several months of what they call "SE Bootcamp" where you get trained by Salesforce on how to be a great SE. This includes crafting sales presentations, giving software demonstrations, the art of story-telling, etc. I would love to go through the training material from this Bootcamp so that I can become a better SE. Maybe I can eventually become a SE at Salesforce. I'm looking for recent content and training material from the SE Bootcamp from Salesforce. This would include videos, docs, examples and etc. Please help. I cannot find this kind of excellent training material anywhere. There is a lot of great material out there, but nothing like from Salesforce. It's like Salesforce has taken the best of different trainings out there, combined it and made something extraordinary. Thank you. #salesforce #salesengineer #interviews #salesforceinterview
If anyone has access to the content from Salesforce, please feel free to DM me.
The content of their onboarding isn’t public facing. It’s a combination of live trainings, shadow sessions, hands on projects, and stand and delivers.
There are some trainings you can take from former Salesforce SE leaders. SaaSY sales training is one
oh wow. why have I never heard of this? thank you!
If you know of others, can you please provide those as well?
