Hey folks, I’m a L63($220k) moving to Salesforce ($310k) as a Sr manager. I wanted to get feedback from the salesforce members about how long it takes to move from Sr manager to director and then to Sr director. Thanks in advance and look forward to hearing from you.
15 (10 in non-IT and 5 in IT)
The 10 years in non-IT does that mean 10 years of being a PM in a non tech company or a non tech role?
Are you already EM at Microsoft?
I am senior PM
How was the interview like?
It always depends but the average should be 2-3 years
Sr.Mgr for 15 yoe seems low….yiu should get atleast director
I am hoping to push for a promo within the next six months (based on feedback from team). If not, I will jump ship. My current team sucks so want to jump ASAP.
Promo within 6 months looks tough unless you ship some class leading product.
