if there is attrition of N then hire N and the VP decides in which team to allocate N. if there are M job openings then M hires in India.

I just saw a bunch of jobs opening up on salesforce careers page for all types of positions and all locations. Post date was March 1st 2024. Seems like maybe they are preparing to lift the hiring freeze soon?

I just finished a series of interviews for a position at Salesforce . The last one was about 2 weeks back. I got the impression from the manager that I am almost selected for the in position however I have not heard back yet and the application still shows "In Consideration". Not sure if the delay is because of the freeze or if I should just give up.
