Guys at Salesforce or other Salesforce users: Are you aware/ashamed at the dumpster fire you've created with the "new" lightning experience? It looks cool and clean but it is insanely slow and 3+ years later still lacking some very basic functionality. Please don't become Microsoft where you start making a habit of releasing half-baked bullshit.

Lightning had some perf issues last year. We fixed it! Try it again. As far as feature completeness depends on the product. It's complete (plus new functionality only in lightning ) for Sales and Platform. Service is just starting.

Curious what features do you find missing? (Outside service) compared to winter release ‘17, it is MUCH faster.
If I list off each of the things missing that are epically screwing my life I'll be too easily identified. Let's just say that the main stuff is there, but a shit ton of little things from classic are missing. Again, it may be faster than before, but it is still several seconds (2.5-7) slower than classic. Dashboard refreshes are faster though. That's about it.

Yeahhh. Lightning is really slow, but it was done cuz apparently customers thought classic looked dated. It worked fine though. Releasing half baked shit is what most companies do now because customers are trained to allow updates often now. Once it’s fully baked it will be silently released. Don’t worry about it.
Looks nice but for me it’s unusable due to how slow it is. Hope this improves.
