Does having Oracle on Resume make it easier to get into Salesforce? How hard are Salesforce director interviews? @salesforce ?
Salesforce >> Oracle
I know for sure that Salesforce titles are inflated compared to OCI, MSFT and Amazon.
Can't speak for all orgs but Security definitely has inflated titles compared to technical experience and knowledge. Lot of good old boy hiring practices.

It must. Salesforce and Oracle occupy similar markets and have similar customers. But Salesforce has higher compensation and better reputation as an employer. Oracle has title inflation. TLDR Director at Salesforce > Director at Oracle.
Its the opposite with title inflation. Titles are more inflated at Salesforce. One oracle oci VP joined salesforce as an SVP. If OP is a Director at Oracle they could try Sr. Director or even VP.
Dude, I know who you are talking about and it is a one off case. Most people coming from oracle get downleveled.
