I recently got a verbal offer from Salesforce for a client facing senior solution architect role (level 8) in Toronto location. Base 200 CAD + 15% bonus + 94K RSU. Any suggestion if this is a good offer? I am not sure what are the salary ranges in Salesforce in general and in Canada, so would appreciate if someone in Salesforce in a similar role can opine. #salesforce #architectsalary #canada
Horrible offer You should be getting minimum 450k cad Tc. Salesforce regular architect is 480k Tc usd, turn into cad then times 0.7 is 450k cad. Senior architect should be higher, also at senior architect level you should have a lot of leverage in negotiations, there aren't many people in the entire world that can do that role. Ask for 300k base and 200k stock
I think you are referring to Senior Architect position in the SW engineering path where very few architects/senior architects are available in the market. I understand the architects (and LMTS, PMTS etc.) in that hierarchy command much higher base and TC. My offer is in the customer success group. I don't believe the compensation range is that high for the CSG area. Isn't that right?
Do your mean senior solutions architect? The customer facing role? Then your offer is excellent.
Technical Architect != Solution Architect.
Did you take the role, OP? What was the final offer?
What’s your total years of experience?
Seems like a pretty good offer considering this is in Canada.
