Currently interviewing for a position at Samsara. I’ve seen conflicting and dated info on here. How are they doing so far in 2023? On paper, looks like a great place to work.
Not sure if this helps much but pre pandemic they shared an office with us. Everyone seemed generally happy to be there and pleasant to talk to. But I do hear rumors of some being a bit snobby at times.
Been here about 5 months and loving it. I like the overall vision of the company, as well as the inner workings of the company (culture and all that). Ima a SWE
What department/general team are you interviewing for? Experience varies based on area of the business
This would be their legal team.
Fantastic team! Probably one of the more collaborative, empowering, and dedicated ones at Samsara. Every single person will be a great teammate and as a whole that group lives our values day in and day out. Work/life balance and workload in general is always top of mind for them, too. One of my favorites to work with! Good luck in your last interview :)
I been here 6 month and I personally really like it. Only thing I hate is that I didn't join 4 years sooner or I would had been rich by now 😒
Unless you joined at a senior or higher that’s unlikely lmao
I am senior 😏
Been at Samsara 4+ years. Ups and downs, but overall moving in a positive direction. Legal team is legit and highly respected internally. Most likely faster paced/busier workload than Qualtrics but any new job will probably feel like that. I’d say go for it. It’s a tech company that is in a good financial and hiring standpoint right now. Maybe koolaid but I definitely believe in the vision of the founders and think there’s more success ahead of us than behind us as an org.
Love it, thanks for the insight!
Can anyone provide a referral at Samsara. ?
yeah, send me a dm with your info
How was the interview?
What kind of questions do they ask in the phone screen and in virtual onsite? Thanks
it’s not terrible so far - been here about four months
Thank you, I know a lot is what you out into it but some of the comments here worried me. Never sure when you take Blind serious or not 😂
