I had applied for the position of DSP Engineer at Samsung Research and got rejected. It was not a surprise because I have taken graduate level DSP classes but my graduate project and one year work experience were not so relevant to the job. A couple days later I received an invite to take a Codility test. I was wondering what I should expect from this test? I plan to prepare for the test today (as much as I can) and take the test tomorrow. Should I skim through my DSP textbook? Or should I go through python exercises? I am an electrical engineer. I’ve done a lot of MATLAB scripting. I have worked with embedded C and assembly and I have intermediate python skills but I have never taken programming classes.
I took the embedded systems test. It had a variety of questions about digital circuit theory what to expect as output or how the circuits behave. I would expect a test covering some core DSP concepts. Mine was all multiple choice.
