How much do you pay for rent? 1b/2b? Current TC AZ: 125k Future TC San Diego: 170k #housing #sandiego
170 in SD is pretty good money, as long as you donât go for luxury apt
SD is great place to live. I would take it by heartbeat but he is making 125K in Az, thatâs like 250K in SD
Kinda afraid to ask... howâs 125k in AZ equivalent to 250k in SD?
What is main reason for the move, weather?
Yes. Weather and life in general. No social life in AZ. I have a few old friends up there in SD. Summer leaches the life out of me in AZ. So maybe SD will help in that regard.

How many books do you usually read in a year?
170 is San Diego will buy you less than 125 in AZ, so basically you are downgrading
170 is my first year TC. I am hoping with vested rsus, in 4 years I would reach close to 210k. I donât plan to buy a home yet, so I figured only difference for me would be the rent. I pay 1350 for pretty decent apartment in AZ. I am thinking I would need to invest at least 2.2k to get a similar apartment without downgrading, which is an additional 10k per year. And taxes add up by additional 10k. So, still coming out a little better than here, on savings part.
You pay $1350 for an apartment in AZ? Where are you living? Scottsdale? Tempe? Our last house was 3300 sq ft and our mortgage was less than $1350/month in Mesa...
