I'll be visiting SF for a whole week... Looking for local advice as to the best neighborhoods to sleep in, to hang out in some chill (safe) bars. I've visited SF a few times in the past, today I'm 36 and married with kids (not joining)... But looking to make my time interesting and worthwhile (outside work). Any tips?
Make sure to download Waymo app so you can take self driving cars!
My favourite spots - Marina Disk (food and drinks, walk along beach golden gate in back drop) - Pacific Heights (food and drinks) - Tartine coffee - walk in golden gate park. (Coffee, breakfast, walk, sight seeing)
Sleep in the Tenderloin. Top SF attraction
Yea I heard it has some chill vibes
Man idk what to tell you. Id check out nature stuff like the presidio and Golden Gate Park but as far as lively neighborhoods that are safe I really cannot make any recommendations
Yea nature stuff can also work... Even 1-2 hrs drive away
Be sure to leave the trunk of your car open when you park it so nobody breaks into it
Strip clubs to have some fun
Does the occasional naked hobo count?
Did this in November before moving here. Same age. Found a great deal on a boutique hotel by union square. Very central. Spent a lot of time in Hayes Valley, North Beach, and Nob Hill, but there were some lively bars downtown as well.
Would u sleep in Lombard st. between Marina district and Cow Hollow?
