Satya handled the layoffs worst. He’s the biggest hypocrite. Here are 5 reasons.

1. Satya took no responsibility in his email. Pretty much all CEO’s at least said they were accountable for the missteps. 2. He was busy arranging music concerts the night of the announcement. This is after he writes and talks about empathy at length. 3. He is stretching out the layoffs over 2.5 months. 4. Stated how it’s showtime implying we should get back to business and forget about all this. 5. Said he’s paying better than average severance when Google and possibly others clearly went above and beyond. Liar! What a prick!!! Tc 300k (I don’t know I’m safe or not)

Oracle fish_dick Jan 21, 2023

My reaction is, fuck it, fire me already. I give less of a shit after seeing all these layoffs.

Microsft didn't hire aggressively like Amazon, Meta, Google. In fact they lost folks to amazon, meta. It was not Satya's fault.

Airbnb duckboi Jan 21, 2023

Microsoft, come on attack VMwares argument not them if you are gonna sound like an adult

Google kjWS36 Jan 21, 2023

Oh please! MSFT were bloody aggressive in their own right. When I was at AWS I lost lots of people to MSFT who were offering insane packages that we couldn't (or wouldn't match)

Confluent a64s75s75i Jan 21, 2023

Microsoft will be the first company reaching $4T.

My money’s on Apple

Amazon LizardOfOz Jan 21, 2023

Apple has peaked so bad, they are not able to think of a new shape for their next phone.

GE Memechat Jan 21, 2023

Is Satya super smart?

Airbnb duckboi Jan 21, 2023

I doubt it

GE Memechat Jan 21, 2023

Did Satya steer Microsoft to cloud? Or Ballmer?

Meta shortcovid Jan 21, 2023

Alas, he won't be able to read your post. I hear the connectivity on the ski slopes near Davos isn't great.

Salesforce Lamp0rt Jan 23, 2023

He is hiring $2500/night escorts in Davos. Cope.

Google DarkThemeI Jan 21, 2023

Google has also reduced headcount by 12k yesterday.
