Etsy stock dived after earnings call. Fear of layoffs and PIP making me unable to sleep. Is anyone else on the same boat? The company is in total chaos. People are getting fired left and right.
Revenues are still growing. It should recover
I’m with you on this, Etsy. I feel really concerned about the internal situation as well. I’m expecting layoffs as well but only thing I’m banking on is that maybe they won’t do it before holidays and the gift giving season is upon us and they’ll want us to deliver as much as we can before. If things don’t improve by end of year, I would maybe expect layoffs in Jan.
KTLO doesn’t require a lot of people, so I wouldn’t count on holiday season per se. What worries me is that the leadership is not transparent and pretends everything is fine. What’s much worse than layoffs is the expectation of that, killing morale
Just get good n interview hard
Same at Intuit, Etsy!
Very understandable!! I’ve been stressed about the thought of impending layoffs for several weeks/months now. The best you can do is look elsewhere and update your resume so you have all of your bases covered
Bro, chill. Look what'd happened last year. Went from 300 to 80
Vicious downtrend since the everything bubble. ETSY has had 0 participation in this year's rally. The ER was actually decent too
