I have been holding my brokerage account at Schwab but recently started using fidelity for cash management account and 529 etc. so thinking it may be nice to keep most things in 1 platform. I haven’t traded stocks on fidelity but I guess it wouldn’t be much different from schwab so maybe transferring everything to fidelity would make sense? On the other hand I’m a bit concerned about putting all the eggs in 1 basket. If things go wrong with fidelity would I risk losing my money? Wdyt? I maybe overthinking tho, i think fidelity has been around for ages #investments #stocks
I own accounts in both fidelity and schwab. I prefer fidelity platform over schwab. If the cash holdings are less than 250K it does not matter.
You mean cash only while amount in stocks does not matter?
I think so but by no means expert. I assume stock ownership is monitored by some other entity as well other than brokerage.
Robinhood. Have tried etrade and fidelity. Hard to beat 5.25% rate and features.
Also have used those. Robinhood is by far the worst
Interest rates seems great. @qualcomm what do you dislike about it? I haven’t used robinhood before

Who are these retards asking for dictatorship in India?
Are you talking about manually transferring stocks to fidelity?
Yeah i think it seems simple to request transfer of all stocks
Yeah I liked the idea of having all at one place too.
