I'm trying to reduce my commute time, and considering these two options. Vanpool seems like a lot of hassle (organizing everything and picking up people), but MS covers expences. Scoop seems like a better option schedule wise (no daily dependencies) + driver gets a money reward, though there is no review system, so how to filter drivers/riders? TC 220
There’s no predictability with Scoop/Waze, and that can be super frustrating depending on your needs. On the plus side, you meet some interesting people. If you think you can reduce commute by scooping to get access to carpool lane, think again. The extra drive time to pick up and drop off makes it a wash, IMO.
i only rides since it will allow me to leetcode during the commute.
I'm doing some research on vanpooling. Would really appreciate some feedback on this short form! https://forms.gle/rP2YNTcTP3Q9z8319

Waze carpool has been a better option for me. You can request/offer rides flexible amount of days a week and it has verification via work email.
